By far my favorite cloud service for keeping my notes, ideas, lists, and more between all of my computers and mobile devices. A must have application in my eyes. There is certainly some favoritism towards OSX with Microsoft (such irony). This version of OneNote beats the Windows version, and the Online version to a bloody pulp. I’m certainly not complaining, as the functionality I’ve been asking for with the Windows version is already here, and move to the MBP anytime I need to use OneNote for a long duration of time.

I have been a user of Evernote since they started. Tried almost every notes app atleast twice…. One Note has refined over the many times I have tried it. They ask for feedback in the app and they respond by fixing or refining the app!!! I spent 6 hours trying to find out how to submitt a service request to Evernote as a Premium user last week and finally gave up. Durning the last month I have taken a serious look at One Note - all the features are there and better - But it takes a little time for me to learn them. It helped to just play around with it and do each of the things I do with my notes several times.. then I got it and it works soo much better … in little ways but important ways. I can also get the info out easily. Try it you will be surprised. It is going to be the ‘OneNote literally!! Thanks MS - I am a impressed. I use it across my mac and two ios devices and it now works super fast and sync well. No more Awesome - won’t sync with mac…. just keeps saying it it syncing…. I tried and tried to resolve ! the old Microsoft is back! Boo

This app is an amazing find! I use it in all of my meetings and refer back to my notes often. I am even asked to take notes and share them with others at my department meetings. This app is super reliable and useful. The only caveat is you cannot do much without wifi, but that can go for just about anything nowadays. I highly recommend this notebook app. I only wish it were easier to share my notes (maybe as a pdf) with others who do not have this app.

Why DISABLE and not provide any alternative to Option+Left and Command+Arrow Key? Also search is useless. The smaller the keyword the dumber it is.

I have Evernote (EN) Premium, have had it for the past few years. I decided to give Onenote (ON) a try because I have an Office 365 subscription through my work. Pros: + OCR + Large canvas Cons: - Not a 64-bit application. (How is this still a thing?) - Missing functionality from its Windows counterpart. - Slow syncing (quite slow compared to EN) - Inefficient tagging system. (Try searching by tags if you don’t believe me.) - Cannot share just pages, can only share entire notebooks. - Publicy shared notebook cannot share PDF and/or attachments without login (tested this three times, it doesn’t work). The attachment will not download. - Printing a notebook is nearly impossible—does not automatically shrink to page, must play with scaling first.

It is perfect. If it can support highlighting codes, it is going to be awesome.

I tried many applications in the past, but I only kept this one as it is solid and improving regularly.

I find OneNote brilliant and whether you use it on the mac, iPhone, iPad it works the same : perfectly well I have used some alternatives and it is my favourite, because you can organise your folders the way you want, with different levels. Carry on the good work

The version for Windows is more complete. However, it’s a good app for Mac

I’m a Windows Fun boy, but I am liking so much this version of OneNote, of course already it has no features that I can found on a windows version, but visually it’s beautifuller.

I started use the One Note some months ago and I am loving it. Everything is synchronized automatcly and you can create many topics, files .. as you prefer. The best app for this task ever. I recommend.

After trying a few apps for organizing my work and daily tasks, this is definitely the best option. It’s by far the best Microsoft app ever. Doesn’t even look like a Microsoft app!

Very cool app, I replaced all my various productivity apps with Office 365 stuff now. Do not regret anything. Microsoft is becoming cool. Loving it.
