Microsoft OneNote App Reviews

Needing an alternative from Apple Notes (because sorting notes alphabetically with them was not an option), this was the sensible way to try, and I love this app… yet, a bit frustrating because it takes so long to open. If I have an idea, I want the app to open immediately… don’t want to wait a minute or two for it to launch.

This app is great for organizatiing resources for research projects. Just paste the links, citation, and information you want to use for your paper. In my opinion it is a real step saver to have everything in one place, that can be accessed from One Drive. It is not 100% perfect, but it is user friendly in my opinion.

convenient, easy to use, shows up on all devices. colorful options within each list make prioritizing easy. tabs for each project are very helpful. now i no longer ‘forget’ my list or wish i had information ‘with me’. easy to use on a smart phone, tablet or computer. highly recommended!

I needed a research assistant for my course work and this was a free option via my campus Office365 account. The addition of the OneNote Clipper plpug-in is really a crucial feature you will need to make the most of this application for research. However, it lacks some key features found on the Windows version. Naturally on star dig for lack of platform parity.

Ive tried both OSX notes and Evernote and this has all of the functionality I use without being slow and cluttered.

Since using One Note for a few months now i have found it to become extremely valuble to me. I use it everyday and really like the ability to be able to keep all of my notes consolidated for access across my multiple computers!! I would recommend this product to anyone! Great job Microsoft!!!

It is easy to use and a big help with my school work. There are a million things that this would be a helpful tool to organize school, work, home, shopping, writing down ideas for a book, etc.

OneNote has a lot of great things happening, and I find it to be more useful than my other favorite note service in almost every way. However, this app is not complete because it doesn’t let you look at two notes side-by-side. I do a lot of writing, and being able to reference my notes while writing other ones is essential. Add this feature and I’ll be hooked.

I use OneNote at work on my PC and at home on my iMac. The integration between web, iMac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch has been flawless. I’m giving it 4.5 stars as the some functionality is lost when using OneNote on the iPad. It’s minor and the support is getting better, but it’s still a gap.

I have been using OneNote for several years now and just can’t imagine work without it. This is a great tool that allows you to take notes and collect all thoughts in one place. The only downside is that you have to use OneDrive with OneNote and it cannot be saved to your computer. My company does not allow OneDrive but I am using it anyway using my personal OneDrive account.

The fact that you guys ommited the traditional navigation bar on the left side of the screen is pitifull. Navigating books and sections is horrible

This version doesn’t let you to create new notebooks.
