new update keeps crashing

keep on crashing after updates. Please fix it ASAP. Exams are coming…

Love OneNote

I cannot even phatom my work day without using my OneNote. But for the odd bugs here an there on the MAC vs. the smoothness I experienced on the PC. This is a must have tool.

Middle Years Teacher

Love keeping myself organized with my lesson plans using OneNote! its great!

Version 15.21 CRASHES Every. Single. Time.

The application was working well until the latest update, but now it crashes every time I try to open it on my Macbook Pro 2013. I needed to use it for note-taking, but it crashed on me 3 times before I restarted my laptop, and another 10 times after I restarted my laptop. I can’t even use it because it just crashes every time I open it. I am sad, but it looks like I’m not alone because these other reviews are pretty much saying the same thing.

Excellent

I hope one notes contiunes to make it better and more features for Mac users

Excellet tool! Organizing my work would be a lot harder without it.

Excellend tool and product. Would love for all the windows based features to be available but its amazing already.

Draw option for Mac

Great tool for power point Lectures. Would like the ability to highlight directly on to the slides. I believe it is called the draw feature on windows.

As a med student...

As a med student, I love to have all my notes and my clinical theme in hand. Very easy to use, very helpful and no troubleshooting so far. I have OneNote on my iPad mini (perfect size for my white coat’s pockets); on my iPhone; and on my Mac (Windows Office). Perfect for clinical use and for studying, OneNote is my new study partner whenever I need it. Section groups are perfect for organizing and sorting subjects. Though, some Words utilities are lacking and could be usefull: symbols; comments (useful if multiple users on one notebook); footnote (particularly useful for writing down scientific sources); tables options and IMAGE/PICTURE FORMAT (This can be very painful) !!! Charts would have been useful too. Otherwise, this app is wonderful and make you save multiple hours writing lessons notes (Word, handwriting, printing, etc.). In a few words, OneNote is a giant note book that is constently growing to be the ONE textbook that you use. If you are a student, a professional or solely a writer, OneNote is the app to have on your multiple devices. Can Microsoft Corporation contact my University to maybe make a partnership ? Who knows. Free, useful and easy to handle, Download it!

Just keeps getting better and better, but not as good as the Windows version

This is a great tool (along with its iOS and Windows companions) for note taking. I like it way better than Evernote or any other note taking product. BUT it’s still missing some key tools compared to its Windows brother including: - Drawing / photo annotation tools - Tag filtering (like in Windows) - Ability to insert wayyy more types of media objects Keep up the great work.

Excellent but...

Would love a word count feature! I find myself having to type up in other programs to get a word count and then pasting it into this after the fact. It’s a great organization program, but it’s missing that key feature!

two thunbs up

It works and lots of funcitonalities...

Very very useful

I no longer use any other Word editor software. OneNote takes note-taking, doing research, and gathereing and organizing information to a whole NEW level. The syncing between devices alone - is very very useful!

Super useful

I like it; I use it everyday. But i wish it allowed you to dictate commands and for events to sync to calandar like Apple reminders.

Nice app

This is a great app, it would be nice if a chat plataform could be added to this.

Great.. and getting better all the time

I use this for work and at home. OneNote is versatile and has so many options from note taking to organizing notes and love the ability to put passwords on folders. Great application!

One Note really is an awesome tool

I LOVE usning my Mac for my daily work. One of the only things I missed about was the lack of OneNote. I now feel fully back and functional. Love it

love it!

totally love it! i use onenote for absolutely everything- household stuff (notes on whats in the stoarge, which product is the cheapest in which store, cleaning tips and so on), holiday planning (where to go, what to consider, which season is the best FOR ME to go, roughly budgeting), exercise notes (one chapter for logging my exercises, one for ideas what i could try out next), as a recipie book, but most importantly: school! its ideal to take notes on chapters youre working on, for assingments and papers you need to finish (really great for group projects). i actually take all my school notes with onenote and try to scan most- if not all- papers we get during lectures and collect the with onenote. I always loved taking notes to literally everything I could think of, but it always ended in the same mess: i lost notes, coffee split, my bag wa getting heavy or my drawers too full. I just love how i have everything I need without carring 10 different folders. Although I have not found a solution yet to use OneNote to not have to carry all my schoolbooks ;) A little while ago I would have included that OneNote for Mac is missing a lot of features compared to OneNote for Windows, but a friend told me it has been recently updated. Havent had a chance to figure that part out yet, but I would be very excited if thats the case! i just would love if you could open two notebooks at the same time

Very good notetaking software. Please bring more functions from OneNote 2013 Version.

I usually take class notes in windows version onenote and than read my notes in the mac version. They work very smoothly. If the Mac Version can have the full edit mode - hide all menus and side bar - so as to let me focus on content editing, it would be very appreciated.

Awesome!!

I LOVE IT! Works perfectly for my needs.

Pretty good overall

Main think thats missing is ink support on Mac, which would let you seamlessly work between Mac (with Wacom) and Windows (e.g. with Surface) versions. Also some other inconsitencies with UI between platforms like location of page list. Besides that, its a very nice note app, and I prefer it over Evernote and other alternatives.
