CRASHES every time I open application

I love OneNote, but with the new update, I cannot sign in on the app. When I try to, it crashes..
Authentication session has expired every time I try to log in and sync my notebook. And then the dreaded pinwheel until I force quit. My online account works, but I prefer using the app.
Have sent error reports numerous times to Apple and Microsoft. No dice.
Please fix!
