Don’t use OneNote for Mac if you don’t have a PC too.
Don’t get me wrong, I love OneNote. I use it on my surface, my desktop ,my iPhone, and my MacBook. But the App Store version is missing a lot of features. The main ones I wish it had were those that allow you to change the page layout under the “View” tab. On Windows I have a lot more freedom as to what my pages look like. You also cannont type as freely as you can on Windows. For example, if I start a text box on windows I can type away, and then when I want to place a new textbox I just click somewhere else on the screen. But on Mac it doesn’t allow me to open another textbox at all, let alone with just one click. There are lot sof other things I’ve noticed that make the Mac version worse, but I don’t have time to talk about all that stuff. OneNote is still awesome though. I’m still going to keep using it. But if you don’t have a Windows computer to also use OneNote on, don’t use it. You miss out on way too many features that other not apps do have.
